After visiting giant sheep farms in Ontario, Canada, where we watched guard dogs in action, we purchased a beautiful pup of our own and named him Cooper.  

 

We teach kids about animals who work with farmers.  The dogs do more work that the farmers can’t do and live with the sheep all the time.  Cooper's instincts are amazing.  He was born in a sheep barn, and lives with our sheep.  They respect him, so they move when he tells them to.

 

His best buddy is Blue, the lame sheep.  Cooper looks out for him, and moves other sheep around so Blue gets enough to eat.
