Things To See and Do

There is so MUCH to see and do at the farm! Below are just a few ideas. 
And just so you don't miss out, check our NEWS page often

  • Browse around our farm on your own.

  • Enjoy a tour with a Critter Crew youth volunteer.

  • You'll see rabbits, chickens, ducks, cats, hogs, cows, sheep, goats, a donkey, turkeys, pot-bellied pigs, geese, and a horse!

  • Meet, touch and even hug our baby animals.

  • Feed hay to the sheep, goats, and cows. Hay buckets are 50 cents.

  • Go into the Pygmy, Nigerian, and Angora goat pens.

  • Go inside our chicken coop and our commercial hen house model.

  • Hold, pet, cuddle, feed, watch, interact, and learn.

  • Create great memories with your friends or family.

  • Take lots of pictures.

  • Bring a tablet and sketch a picture of your favorite animal.

  • Take a picnic lunch along, we have tables by the front pasture.

Groups & Parties

Critter Barn is a great place for:

Birthday PartiesClub Events, Church Outings, School Outings, Home School Outings, Business Picnics, Private Farm Tours

PARKING

- Our parking lot is on the North Side of our big Red Barn

- If the lot is full, you may park on Adams Street along the front of the farm

- Please use the bike path along Adams Street for walking safety

 

Please drive slowly. Children are always walking around the farm

 

  • Please note, our road has three names:

       16th Street in Holland, Adams Street in Zeeland, and 100th Avenue in Grand Rapids

  • If you are attending with a group of 15 or more, please call ahead 616.748.1110 or email the farm @ info@critterbarn.org

  • Groups of 15 or more will be assisted by a Critter Barn staff member

Tuesday-Saturday 

10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm
