About the event
Are humans the only farmers? Who ate our lettuce before we could harvest it? In our hands-on workshops, children aged 5-6 years old will answer questions like these as we dive into growing our food. We’ll explore soil types, the importance of pollination, search our fields for clues & tasty food, and expand our vocabulary & comfort level with farm-based activities and fun. When we know more about how our food grows, we can make healthy choices for the rest of our lives!
