2026 Animal Adventures: 6-8 yr

Get ready for a summer full of fun and discovery! Animal Adventures is the ultimate farm experience for young animal lovers, combining hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and plenty of fun. This year, families can choose between two exciting class options—or sign up for both for a four-day adventure.

Small Animal Adventures (Monday–Tuesday): This two-day option focuses on Critter Barn’s smaller animals, including rabbits, cats, and poultry. Students will learn how these animals are cared for through hands-on activities and age-appropriate lessons that build confidence and compassion.

Large Animal Adventures (Wednesday–Thursday): This two-day option introduces students to Critter Barn’s larger livestock, including goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, and donkeys. Campers will explore daily care routines, practice safe animal handling, and grow comfortable working with larger animals.

Throughout both class options, students will investigate the unique characteristics of different animals, from mammals to birds. What makes a mammal a mammal? How are birds different from reptiles? Campers will explore these questions while learning about animal needs and what makes each species special.

Families may register for one class option or choose both for a four-day Animal Adventures experience. Each option offers unique animals and activities, making them great on their own or even better together.
