We need young farmers!

Dear Friends of the Critter Barn,

As 2017 comes to a close, I want to share my heartfelt appreciation for your investment in the work of the Critter Barn.

HOW YOUR DOLLARS WORK

·       You paved the way for thousands of visits for children, young people and adults – with animals!

·       You provided our special friends the opportunity to volunteer weekly with our special education coach.
More than 80 adults from various organizations and up to 35 young people from individual families and school programs came weekly.
This is triple the involvement from the previous year.

·       You supported our Critter Barn staff to mentor and work along-side hundreds of children and young people who volunteer in our Critter Crew program.
Participation was at an all time high!

HOW CAN YOU HELP

·    Support our education and community programs as they are core to our mission through a donation to the Critter Barn today.

·    Attend our Live Nativity which runs from December 5 through 30

·    Invite someone to visit the Critter Barn, we are open all year

We are writing because we are $68,000 away from making our budget goal this year by the end of the year. We have reached 83% of what is needed at this time.  Would you consider a gift for 2017?  Every gift helps the farm, the animals and the staff to impact the lives of boys and girls in our West Michigan communities.

 Thank you for your partnership
  Mary Rottschafer, Director
