Looking for a way to put the Christ in Christmas? Experience the retelling of the birth of Jesus at the Live Nativity Celebration staged inside the warmth of the Critter Barn. For a decade, thousands have made the pilgrimage to the Critter Barn to experience this Christmas tradition in a faith-based atmosphere.

The Live Nativity features sheep, goats and donkeys set to the sounds of Christmas carols and the Biblical account of the birth of Jesus Christ. Also on display are photos of the historical sites in Bethlehem and Galilee where Jesus was born and lived.

As with other Critter Barn activities, children can touch, feed and take photos of the animals. This unique Christmas experience is the perfect activity for church groups of all ages.

We will soon be singing the familiar song, “Away in a Manager.”  Christmas is a wonderful time of year, but in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season it’s easy to lose sight of the real meaning of Christmas.  Why not take some time this year and journey back to that first Christmas by visiting the 10th annual Live Nativity Celebration at the Critter Barn.
 
The Critter Barn is a wonderful gift to our community, and each Christmas Mary Rottschafer and her friends transform the Critter Barn into a magical place where the sights and sounds of that first Christmas are seen and heard again.
